Our Total Rewards Package includes:

  • Competitive Salary–Market surveys are conducted to ensure our wages are competitive.
  •    
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)–Provides employees with a bank of time to be used based upon their personal needs for vacation, holidays, personal days and sick days. The plan provides employees with the flexibility to take time off based upon what is best for them.
  •    
  • Comprehensive Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage–Goodwill's contribution to the premium is comparable to, or better than, the current market.
  •    
  • Dental Insurance–Comprehensive dental coverage. Participation includes an optional vision discount program.
  •    
  • Vision Insurance–Comprehensive vision coverage.

  • Employee Retirement Savings Plan—Investment opportunities through payroll deductions for employees to defer taxes and save for retirement—available on the first paycheck.

  • Retirement Plan—Goodwill contributes generously to a retirement plan for eligible employees following one year of service. Employees must work 1,000 or more hours per year to be eligible for Goodwill's contribution. Employees decide how Goodwill's retirement contributions are invested. This retirement plan is funded 100% by Goodwill.
     
       
  • Life Insurance–Policy values are equal to 1X your annual salary. Goodwill pays 100% of the premium.
  •    
  • Voluntary Life Insurance–Additional life insurance may be purchased for yourself, your spouse and/or children.
  •    
  • Short and Long Term Disability–Goodwill pays 100% of the premium.
  •    
  • Child and Healthcare Reimbursement Plan–Employees may contribute pre-tax dollars to pay for medical and dependent care expenses.
  •       
  • Tuition Reimbursement–Up to 85% of related costs to a maximum of $3,500 per year for eligible employees.
  •    
  • Career Development–Goodwill University provides the necessary educational tools to prepare employees for leadership or managerial positions.
  •    
  • Continuous Learning–We combine in-person training, on the job development and e-learning to provide our employees with the tools they need to develop themselves.

  • Corporate WellnessThe GoodLife wellness program promotes well-being through education, awareness campaigns, health challenges, RN health coaching and champion support. We know a healthy employee is our best resource, so we also offer a variety of discounts to area health centers and wellness resources.

  • Store Discounts—Goodwill is about treasure hunting, and we want employees to enjoy the thrill of shopping at its best! Goodwill employees receive a 20% discount on items purchased in our Store & Donation Centers.

  • Employee Life Fund (ELF)—The Employee Life Fund is a resource for co-workers who are going through difficult times and need financial assistance. Goodwill believes so strongly in this program that it will match employees' contributions dollar for dollar.

  • Employee Assistance Program—Goodwill provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to provide confidential, professional consulting services to our employees and their families.
